November 30, 2008 Running back Pierre Thomas caught a 20-yard touchdown pass in the Week 13 loss to the Bucs. He also led the team with 11 carries for 34 yards. Thomas has scored in three straight games. Our View:Thomas stayed very involved despite the return of Reggie Bush. As Bush finds better health, Thomas's role might decrease a little more, but Pierre could still be useful in TD-only leagues. |

November 25, 2008 Saints running back Pierre Thomas will be involved more heavily even when Reggie Bush returns to action, according to the Our View:Thomas, for the second straight week, was the team's go-to back during Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers. Even though the Saints say that Thomas may still be involved in the offense he is going to be an iffy play. |

November 24, 2008 Running back Pierre Thomas ran the ball 15 times for 87 yards and two touchdowns and also caught three passes for 34 yards, helping New Orleans destroy Green Bay, 51-29. Our View:Thomas had three times the amount of carries Deuce McAllister did, but he'll get less work once Reggie Bush comes back, possibly next week. |

November 16, 2008 Running back Pierre Thomas rushed 16 times for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 win over the Chiefs. He added four grabs for 56 yards. Our View:Thomas had 14 carries over the last six weeks combined, so this effort was surprising. The Saints may have been planning ahead for the Deuce McAllister suspension. Reggie Bush could be back in Week 12, too. Fantasy owners might pick Thomas up again, but don't buy heavily into this performance. |

October 11, 2008 Running back Pierre Thomas is not expected to see much action on offense for the rest of the season, Our View:Thomas opened the year as a complement to Bush and the short-yardage guy. He continues to handle most of the kickoffs, and it sounds like that will be just about his only role moving forward. Barring an injury, Pierre won't be useful to fantasy teams. |
