September 24, 2008 With Al Harris sidelined with an injury, Tramon Williams will get the start at cornerback, according to NFL.com. Our View:Williams has been playing this season as the Packers' nickel back but will now see more time opposite of Charles Woodson. In three games this year Williams has six tackles and will have big shoes to fill. |

August 4, 2008 Tramon Williams has returned to the field following his bout with a groin injury, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He said, "I feel great. I had no problem with the injury." Our View:Williams is a top candidate for the nickel cornerback role this season, and the Packers are pleased he is back at practice. |
