Aaron Ross was held out of Wednesday's practice while nursing a hamstring ailment, according to the NY Daily News.

Our View:Coach Tom Coughlin expects him to be ready to practice Thursday. Ross is a solid NFL cornerback and notched his first two interceptions of 2008 last weekend in a winning effort against Baltimore. He will be needed this week while contending with Kurt Warner and the Cardinals' dynamic aerial attack.

Cornerback Aaron Ross picked off two passes in the Week 11 win over the Ravens. He took one back 50 yards for a score. Those were his first interceptions of the season.

Our View:Ross hasn't established himself as an IDP talent yet, but the former first-round pick has skills and could be improving. Keep an eye on him down the stretch, as he could be a sleeper going into 2009.

Aaron Ross will continue to start at cornerback despite being benched some in Week 7, according to Newsday.

Our View:Ross has 26 solo tackles this season but has yet to get an interception. His first should be coming any game now.

NFL.com reports that Aaron Ross left Sunday’s 26-23 win over the Cincinnati Bengals with an apparent shoulder injury. Ross was injured while making a tackle. He was able to leave the field under his own power, but was not moving the shoulder as he walked off the field with trainers. Ross did not return to the field for the Giants’ first defensive series in overtime.

Our View:Ross has had shoulder issues in the past. His most recent injury has yet to be officially diagnosed.
