Starting right tackkle Stephon Heyer will not suit up for the Redskins' game against the Rams on Sunday, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Heyer has had a shoulder problem and did not play Week 5 either. Jon Jansen will start in his place once again.

Redskins tackle Stephon Heyer did not practice Friday and it is unlikely he will be able to play in the team's Week 5 contest against the Eagles, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Heyer is dealing with a sore shoulder, and he did not play Week 4, either. Heyer was the team's starting right tackle coming out of training camp, beating out Jon Jansen for the job, but Jansen took his place last week and performed well.

Right tackle Stephon Heyer is questionable for the team's Week 4 game, as his shoulder was still sore on Thursday, according to the Washington Post. "If it's game time [until they decide whether Heyer can play], then it's game time," coach Jim Zorn said.

Our View:Heyer is the team's starting right tackle, having surprisingly overtaken Jon Jansen in that role during the preseason.

Stephon Heyer could miss Week 4 due to a shoulder injury sustained against the Cardinals, according to the Washington Post.

Our View:Heyer is the starting right tackle, but the team will still be in good hands with Jon Jansen ready to fill in.

Stephon Heyer has taken over the starting right tackle job for the Redskins, the AP reports. Long-time bookend Jon Jansen is now a backup and recently lined up at left guard. "Disappointed," Jansen tells the AP. "Disappointed that I’m not going to be out there. I still believe in myself to be the right tackle here. It’s not going to be that way on (Thursday), and that’s what I have to deal with."

Our View:We heard rumors of this move a few days ago, but it's still a bit surprising. Jansen started immediately after being drafted in 1999 and has logged 112 games for the Redskins. We only hope the switch doesn't anger other veterans.
