September 10, 2008 It was a surprise for Marcus McCauley on Monday night when he was inactive on Monday night. Head coach Brad Childress said that McCauley's knee injury during training camp was the primary reason for the decision, according to Our View:A year ago, McCauley played in all 16 games for the Vikings, while starting nine as a rookie. It is still unclear if McCauley will be active this week. |

September 8, 2008 The Minnesota Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers in tonight's contest, and the inactive players are kick returner Maurice Hicks, cornerback Marcus McCauley, quarterback John David Booty, safety Madieu Williams, linebacker Erin Henderson, tackle Drew Radovich, fullback Jeff Dugan and defensive tackle Letroy Guion, according to the Our View:Hicks is the team's kick returner, but he is suffering from a foot injury, and the paper speculates that Aundrae Allison will be the returner in his absence. |
