Newsbreakers
November 21, 2008
Peyton Hillis fully practiced Friday, according to the MileHighReport.com. He had been nursing a shoulder ailment.

Our View:He is expected to start at running back in a favorable match-up against the Raiders' 30th ranked run defense.

Peyton Hillis underwent an X-ray on his right shoulder after Sunday's game, according to the Rocky Mountain News. The results weren't known, but Hillis, who had the shoulder covered with ice, didn't sound concerned. "Nothing, just routine," Hillis said. "... Just want to ice it down."

Our View:The Broncos certainly can't afford any more injuries to their running backs. Hillis looked good today against the Falcons, so hopefully he will be OK.
November 16, 2008
Peyton Hillis carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 11 victory over Atlanta.

Our View:Hillis, who handled approximately 50 percent of the carries, also chipped in three receptions for 26 yards.

Peyton Hillis will start at tailback for the Broncos on Sunday with Tatum Bell as his backup, FOXSports.com reports.

Our View:If nothing else, Hillis will likely get the goal-line carries, making him a fair fantasy option.
November 11, 2008
The Broncos may move forward with fullback Peyton Hillis as their starting tailback, the Denver Post suggests. Hillis was forced to carry the load over the second half of Week 10 due to injuries. The Broncos opted to sign fullback/tailback Alex Haynes on Monday rather than a more traditional ball-carrier like LaBrandon Toefield or Musa Smith.

Our View:It's always tricky to predict Mike Shanahan's plans in the backfield, and we should have a better idea once we get practice reports this week. At this point, Hillis looks worth a free agent bid in larger leagues.
