July 23, 2008 The Oakland Raiders have signed rookie wide receiver Arman Shields , the team's 4th-round draft pick, to a contract, according to Our View:The Raiders selected Shields with the 125th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, which they received from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for CB Fabian Washington. The 6’1”, 195-pound receiver caught 160 passes for 1,930 yards, averaged 12.0 yards per catch, and scored 13 touchdowns while attending the University of Richmond. The Washington, DC native will report to his first NFL Training Camp on July 23rd at the Raiders Napa Valley Training Complex. |
