Dallas quarterback Brad Johnson's brother-in-law is Georgia head coach Mark Richt, and Terrell Owens is from Alabama, so the two made a friendly wager on the outcome of the Georgia-Alabama game. The Crimson Tide crushed the Bulldogs, so Johnson had to pay up, according to the Dallas Morning News. During the team's practice, Johnson had to wear black tights and a Terrell Owens Tennessee-Chattanooga throwback jersey.

Our View:Tights are probably not the greatest look for the 40-year-old Johnson, but a bet is a bet. Owens would have had to wear Zuba pants (zebra print pants, basically) and an old Johnson Florida State jersey.

The Dallas Cowboys may not utilize Brad Johnson as the back-up quarterback this season as he has not looked good so far, according to Pro Football Weekly. The team is currently exploring other options, such as Chris Simms, Josh McCown and John Beck.

Our View:Johnson actually makes Chad Pennington look like he has a cannon for an arm. If a quarterback can't get the ball to the receiver, it will be difficult to have a passing game, so the Cowboys are doing their due diligence in the unfortunate event of a Tony Romo injury.

ESPN.com reports that Cowboys' coach Wade Phillips is leaning toward keeping Brad Johnson as the primary backup to Tony Romo. He loves the fact that Johnson has led a team to a Super Bowl and thinks people make too much of his lack of arm strength.

Our View:We don't like his arm strength. Just kidding, Wade. Johnson doesn't figure to see too many snaps this season, as Romo has not missed a game in three straight seasons. A strong offensive line will once agains protect Dallas' golden boy.
