September 15, 2008 Coach Tony Dungy was shocked when Adam Vinatieri missed a short field goal attempt Sunday against Minensota but was confident he was going to make the game-winner, according to the Indianapolis Star. Dungy said, "There was no doubt in anybody's mind on our sideline that he was going to make the game-winner. If it had been 55 yards, he would have made that." Our View:His field goal was good from 47 yards and pulled the Colts ahead 18-15 with three seconds left in the fourth quarter. Vinatieri may not be as accurate as he once was, but remains among the best clutch kickers. |
