Troy Brown is undecided about his future. The veteran has received mild interest from a few teams this offseason, but it's possible he could end up retiring. "I haven't come to an answer to that question yet," Brown said in the Herald-Dispatch. "I'm not in a hurry to make any decisions. We'll just see what happens in the next few weeks, months, whatever it takes to make up my mind." Brown played in just one contest last year and hasn't been a fantasy factor in a while.

Free agent wide receiver Troy Brown visited with the New York Jets yesterday and worked out for them, according to The Boston Globe. It's unclear how genuine the interest is from the Jets and their coach, former Patriots assistant Eric Mangini. This could just be the latest salvo in an increasingly bitter feud between the Patriots and Jets, which escalated during their season-opener last September, when the Jets tipped off the NFL that the Patriots were illegally filming their defensive signals. The Browns and Lions are also interested in Brown, though both have cooled in their pursuit of the veteran receiver.

The New England Patriots are prepared to part ways with wide receiver Troy Brown, according to The Boston Globe. The organization recently advised Brown that he was not in their immediate plans, and is free to field offers from other teams. It's unclear if the 36-year-old Brown, who has played his entire 15-year career with the Patriots, is planning to play another season. A source close to Brown told the Boston Globe that Brown feels he can still play, and other teams have expressed interest his services.

Troy Brown may return for a 16th season despite not catching a pass in 2007 or being active for the Super Bowl, according to The Boston Globe. Brown reportedly feels great and believes he can continue to play and contribute. He will turn 37 in July additionally.
