Amani Toomer caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.

Our View:Toomer isn't much of a fantasy option anymore, but he continues to be a solid veteran in the Giants' receiving core.

Wide receiver Amani Toomer is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, head coach Tom Coughlin tells the team's official web site. Toomer has been out due to a sore left knee.

Our View:Toomer shouldn't need much time to get back on the same page with Eli Manning. This veteran wideout is only worth looking at in very large fantasy leagues, but he is a crucial safety valve for his quarterback.

Giants wide out Amani Toomer missed practice today because of swelling in his left leg, according to NFL.com.

Our View:This does not sound like a serious injury, and Toomer should be back in short order. He remains a player that should be targeted mostly for depth in fantasy football.

Amani Toomer wants to continue playing football according to a report in Newsday. "I haven't thought about retiring at all," he said. "There are still some things I want to accomplish." Toomer, who will be 34-years-old in September, put up solid numbers during the regular season (59 receptions, 760 yards) while he gained the implicit trust of Eli Manning. He is still a solid hands receiver, and he should be able to have another productive season or two in a support role.
