Matt Stover, K Tuesday 10/7, 3:25 PM CT
Ravens kicker Matt Stover has not made a kick longer than 38 yards this season, and is 4-for-7 overall, according to BaltimoreRavens.com.

Our View: Despite that, the team claims they still have confidence in the veteran, and that he will get things figured out. They better hope so, because Baltimore is not exactly the epicenter of offense, and need Stover's leg to get points.
Kelly Gregg, DT Monday 10/6, 6:05 PM CT
Kelly Gregg will undergo micro-fracture surgery on his injured knee on Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season, according to the National Football Post.

Our View: Gregg is second on the Ravens all-time tackle list with 618 but his career has been derailed because of injury as he was never able to make it onto the field this season after previously having surgery on his knee during the offseason.
Derrick Mason, WR Monday 10/6, 5:00 PM CT
As expected, HC John Harbaugh reiterated on Monday that the injury to the thumb of Derrick Mason was indeed minor, according to the Baltimore Sun. "Derrick Mason should be fine," Harbaugh said. "He's going through some bumps and bruises. He's going to spend a little time in treatment this week."

Our View: Mason has 21 receptions in his four games this season and continues to be a solid WR3 option in PPR leagues despite the struggles of Joe Flacco.
Derrick Mason, WR Sunday 10/5, 8:57 PM CT
Derrick Mason injured his left thumb in Week 5 but the Baltimore Sun is reporting that the injury is not serious.

Our View: Mason has had a good start to the 2008 season with 261 receiving yards in four games but has yet to get into the end zone. The Ravens rookie quarterback, Joe Flacco, is definitely comfortable with throwing to Mason.
Fabian Washington, CB Sunday 10/5, 8:50 PM CT
Fabian Washington injured his right shoulder in the third quarter of the Ravens Week 5 game and did not return, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Washington will undergo a MRI on Monday and then a decision on his status for Week 6 will be made.
Adam Terry, T Sunday 10/5, 8:44 PM CT
Adam Terry left the Ravens Week 5 game early with a right knee injury, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Terry will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injury.
LeRon McClain, RB Sunday 10/5, 3:22 PM CT
Running back Le'Ron McClain carried the ball 11 times for 51 yards and a score in the Week 5 loss to Tennessee.

Our View: McClain received only 33 percent of the carries, but he continues to convert short yardage opportunities at the stripe. During the past four games, he has scored four touchdowns.
Troy Smith, QB Sunday 10/5, 11:29 AM CT
Ravens inactives: QB Troy Smith (3rd QB), CB Samari Rolle, S Dawan Landry, CB Derrick Martin, OT Oniel Cousins, G/T David Hale, WR Marcus Smith, NT Kelly Gregg.

Our View: Running back Willis McGahee (chest, ribs) is active and expected to start. The Ravens defense could be a tad more vulnerable than normal, as they are missing several key defenders including: Samari Rolle, Dawan Landry and Kelly Gregg.
Willis McGahee, RB Sunday 10/5, 10:12 AM CT
NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Willis McGahee (chest, questionable) will be active against Tennessee. A Ravens official emailed Schefter and said it looks like McGahee will even start.

Our View: McGahee has been hindered by various injuries this season, and was limited in practice this week. Throw in the double tough match-up against Tennessee, and his fantasy prospects appear grim for this week.
LeRon McClain, RB Sunday 10/5, 7:30 AM CT
The Ravens are concerned about McClain's conditioning due to his early-season workload, Pro Football Weekly reports.

Our View: McClain has been one of the real surprises in the early going, so fantasy owners can only hope that he continues to hold up.
Derrick Martin, CB Saturday 10/4, 6:43 PM CT
Derrick Martin remains doubtful for Sunday's game due to his shoulder injury, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Martin registered a tackle in the Ravens' Week 4 loss to Pittsburgh, but looks to miss Sunday's contest against the Titans. Either way, he holds no fantasy value.
Chris Chester, C Saturday 10/4, 4:41 PM CT
Chris Chester has been converted from an offensive lineman to a tight end, according to the Carroll County Times.

Our View: Chester played tight end in college at Oklahoma, but is not expected to hold any value at the position in the NFL with Baltimore.
Demetrius Williams, WR Saturday 10/4, 10:45 AM CT
Demetrius Williams has just five catches for 35 yards so far this year, but offensive coordinator Cam Cameron says that Williams is just now getting healthy, according to the Carroll County Times. "Demetrius is the healthiest I've seen him since I've been here," Cameron said.

Our View: Williams has a lot of talent, but he is limited by the fact that he's No. 3 on the depth chart and has rookie Joe Flacco throwing to him.
Samari Rolle, CB Friday 10/3, 8:13 PM CT
NFL.com reports that cornerback Samari Rolle underwent neck surgery this week and will be out at least a month. Rolle suffered a stinger in a 28-10 victory September 21 over the Cleveland Browns after intercepting a pass in the fourth quarter.

Our View: Fabian Washington will start in his place and although it's not a big dropoff, Rolle is an excellent cover corner. Expect the Ravens defense to remain one of the best in the game.
Samari Rolle, CB Friday 10/3, 9:26 AM CT
Ravens cornerback Samari Rolle will miss the team's Week 5 contest against the Titans, according to BaltimoreRavens.com.

Our View: Rolle is dealing with neck and shoulder maladies suffered in Week 2. Fabian Washington will likely start in his place.
Todd Heap, TE Friday 10/3, 8:38 AM CT
The Baltimore Ravens coaching staff may believe that tight end Todd Heap is "soft" due to his inability to play through a calf injury in the preseason, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Heap is constantly injured, as any fantasy owner can tell you. He has a pathetic three catches for 37 yards, and at the moment, there is really no reason for him to be on fantasy rosters.
Dawan Landry, S Thursday 10/2, 4:24 PM CT
Dawan Landry had his cervical collar removed Thursday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: He had never missed a game in his three-year NFL career, and it was difficult for him to watch the Ravens lose a close game to rival Pittsburgh last Monday night. He remains confident he will play again this season.
Willis McGahee, RB Thursday 10/2, 4:21 PM CT
Willis McGahee was limited in Thursday's practice due to his rib ailment, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron believes McGahee will be ready to play this weekend against Tennessee. The team will get a better idea regarding his status for Week 5 following Friday's practice.
Willis McGahee, RB Thursday 10/2, 8:07 AM CT
Ravens running back Willis McGahee was none too pleased when he found out ESPN reporter Suzy Kolber reported that it was possible he was getting injured because he did not take part in offseason workouts, according to the Baltimore Sun. "She's never played a day in the NFL. Why would I listen to her?" McGahee asked.

Our View: McGahee had a knee problem in camp, then suffered from an eye injury, and now is dealing with sore ribs, and is labeled as day-to-day. He may miss the team's Week 5 contest.
Willis McGahee, RB Wednesday 10/1, 9:45 PM CT
Willis McGahee was limited in practice on Wednesday as the Ravens prepare for Week 5, according to the Baltimore Sun. During the Ravens loss to the Steelers, McGahee missed a good portion of the game due to some injured ribs and has had a rough start to the 2008 season.

Our View: There is no news on the status of McGahee for Week 5 but you need to keep an eye on his status throughout the week.
Kelly Gregg, DT Wednesday 10/1, 9:33 PM CT
Kelly Gregg has been officially ruled out for the Ravens in Week 5, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Gregg has yet to play in 2008 due to trying to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery.
Dawan Landry, S Wednesday 10/1, 9:24 PM CT
Dawan Landry has been ruled out for the Ravens in Week 5, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Landry is recovering from a scary neck injury he suffered in Week 3.
Kelly Gregg, DT Wednesday 10/1, 2:34 PM CT
Kelly Gregg was absent from Wednesday's practice as he continues to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: The elite nose tackle is yet to make his 2008 debut. Chris Johnson and the Titans' ground attack would take advantage of his absence if he misses another game this weekend.
Samari Rolle, CB Wednesday 10/1, 2:30 PM CT
Samari Rolle missed Wednesday's practice due to his neck and shoulder ailments, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Fabian Washington would likely make his second straight start at cornerback in Week 5 against Tennessee if Rolle is unable to play. Rolle is a solid NFL cornerback and the Titans' aerial attack would benefit from his absence.
Nathan Bennett, G Wednesday 10/1, 2:26 PM CT
Nathan Bennett has been signed to the Ravens' practice squad, according to the Baltimore Sun. Rookie wide receiver Edward Williams was added to the practice squad as well. To make room, quarterback Casey Bramlet was released and offensive tackle Joe Reitz was placed on IR.

Our View: Neither Bennett or Williams looks to contribute to the Ravens this season.
Casey Bramlet, QB Wednesday 10/1, 2:22 PM CT
Casey Bramlet has been released from the Ravens' practice squad, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Our View: Bramlet held no fantasy value with Baltimore prior to his release.
