Bengals waive two Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals waived linebackers
Anthony Schlegel and Roy Manning on Thursday.
Schlegel, a third-year player from Ohio State, played in 13 games, including
five starts, for the Bengals last season. He had 34 tackles on defense and four
special teams tackles.
Manning, a fourth-year player from Michigan played in five games and had seven
special teams tackles for Cincinnati last season.... More...
Quarterback Carson Palmer praised running back Chris Perry, according to the Dayton Daily News. Palmer said, "Hes such a threat out of the backfield. I compare him to LaDainian Tomlinson or Larry Johnson running the screen routes."
