November 4, 2008 Kevin Weekes will see a lot of starts now that Martin Brodeur will be out until at least February. Our View:For all of the owners with Brodeur on your roster, Weekes should be a decent replacement. He still plays on the same good defensive team that Brodeur had, which should get him fair amount of wins until Brodeur returns. |

November 3, 2008 Kevin Weekes got his first start in goal on Monday against the Buffalo Sabres. He was starting in place of Martin Brodeur, who recently injured his elbow. He allowed two goals on 30 shots as New Jersey fell 2-0. Our View:Weekes played pretty well and showed enough ability to warrant a pickup should Brodeur miss a significant portion of the season. |
