October 4, 2008 Center Brendan Morrison played on Teemu Selanne's line on Friday. He tallied three assists while Selanne earned a hat trick. The Ducks beat the Coyotes 4-1. Our View:Morrison had offseason knee surgery but it appears he will be ready to go for the regular season. If Selanne and him remain linemates, Morrison should rack up 40 assists. |

September 29, 2008 Brendan Morrison, on the comeback trail after off-season knee surgery, will play in three of the final four Ducks preseason contests, according to the Our View:Morrison has yet to play in the preseason, but he is still being penciled in to eventually find his way to centering the team's second line meaning he could be a useful support player in deep leagues. |

September 18, 2008 Brendan Morrison is still recovering from surgery on his torn ACL and therefore will likely miss the first few days of trainings camp, according to the Our View:Nothing to be overly concerned about here as Morrison is fully expected to be ready to go in a couple of days. Morrison should return to his former 50-point ways this season meaning he might be worth a late round grab in deep leagues. |
