Dave Legwand scored a goal, his second of the year, and added two assists in the Predators loss to the Flames. Martin Erat also scored a goal and added an assist.

Our View:Legwand has had a somewhat slow start to the year on the offensive side of the puck, so perhaps his effort tonight will get the old motor running for a player that the Predators desperately need to score.

Dave Legwand hopes to be able to return to practice on Wednesday in his attempt to return from a knee injury to play against the Red Wings in Round 1, this according to the Tennessean. "I would say he's making some progress,'' HC Barry Trotz said. "I still think he's probably very doubtful for the first couple of games, but maybe there's hope for after.'' Let's face it, the Predators have about a 10% chance of making it to the second round, and that number would shrink even further if Legwand is unavailable to play at any point of the series.
