October 11, 2008 Forward Alex Tanguay picked up four points in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Maple Leafs. He netted a second period goal and added three assists. Our View:Tanguay shook off a disappointing opener and showed why we were high on him in his new digs. We hope to see more such efforts as he becomes more comfortable with Saku Koivu and the rest of his new teammates. |

September 26, 2008 Alex Tanguay is currently dealing with a groin/hip problem, according to the Our View:The big name to keep an eye on here is obviously Tanguay who is coming off his worst season in years (58 points). With a new lease on life in Monrtreal, odds are in Tanguay's favor that he will return to his 70-point scoring ways and therefore he make a nice draft day target if he fails top be drafted early. |
