October 10, 2008 Tim Thomas earned the victory in the season opener as the Bruins defeated the Avalanche 5-4. He stopped 35 of 39 shots in the win. Our View:Thomas had a 92.1 save percentage a season ago but only won 28 of 55 games. The Bruins appear better this season and his wins should increase. |

September 27, 2008 Bruins goalie Tim Thomas was not particularly sharp in his team's exhibition game against the Capitals. Thomas faced 21 shots and let in four goals, though two were on the power play. Our View:Thomas is still likely to be the team's starting goalie, and he had a pretty good performance two nights ago. He won 28 games with a save percentage of .921 last year, and is a solid No. 2 or 3 fantasy option in goal. |
