November 18, 2008 Matthew Lombardi has not played in four weeks because of a shoulder injury. The center was back on the ice at this morning's pre-game skate, but he isn't quite ready to play, according to the Calgary Herald. Our View:Lombardi has only netted one goal in seven games this year. When he is back he doesn't have any fantasy value. |

October 22, 2008 Matthew Lombardi got his first goal of the season and it was the game winner as the Flames beat the Capitals 2-1 on Tuesday. Our View:Lombardi has gotten off to a slow start this season and it's looking like his 36 points in 82 games from a season ago may be what we should expect from him this season. |
