October 23, 2008 Dion Phaneuf had two assists but failed to convert any of his six shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over Nashville. He finished with a plus-4 rating. Our View:The defenseman has yet to score this season. He had 17 goals and 43 assists a season ago and he remains one of the top fantasy defenseman going. |

October 14, 2008 Dion Phaneuf played an exhausting 28 minutes in the Flames' 5-4 win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. The defenseman had two assists and two penalty minutes to show for the effort. Our View:Phaneuf is an excellent defenseman who now has four assists in three games. Expect goals to be coming soon. |
