November 23, 2008 Ryan Malone scored his fourth goal of the season on Sunday tough he was also saddled with a (-4) as the Lightning were hammered by the Devils. Our View:Malone has produced four points in his last two games as it appears that his offense game has finally been found. However, he still has only seven points on the year, and with the struggles the club has had on defense, his plus/minus isn't anything to write home about (-4 overall). Malone should contribute a lot more than he has so far, though last years effort of 27 goals and 51 points seem likely to be his ceiling this season even if everything starts clicking. |

November 19, 2008 Ryan Malone practiced Wednesday and said he is still feeling discomfort and pain from his groin injury but he expects to play through it and return on Friday against Nashville, according to the Tampa Tribune. Our View:Malone has played in 14 games so for this year and has notched three goals. It is good news for the Lighting that the injury is not as serious as originally thought. |
