He will continue to skate on the team's first line with Alexei Kovalev and Andrei Kostitsyn. Our View:Plekanec has 31 shots and just one goal through nine games. The goal came on an open net. Just as bad, he only has two assists. Fantasy owners should stick with him as he should put up points in bunches once he does get it going. |

April 14, 2008 Tomas Plekanec has two assists and no goal through the first three games of the season and feels that he can, and needs, to play a whole lot better moving forward, this according to Sportsnet. "The last two games, I played like a little girl out there," Plekanec said. "I definitely have to be hungrier, harder around the net and respond to the game a little better. Right now, obviously the confidence is not right where it should be for me. But one good shift can turn it around." Our View:Well, we know one guy who can be honestly self critical. The good news for Plekanec is that he has still gotten on the scoredboard with two assists and the Habs still have a 2-1 advantage over the Bruins even though some of the Habs top scoring options have struggled. Look for more offense from the 29-goal scorer moving forward. |
