November 3, 2008 Andrew Ladd had two goals and an assist and helped lead the Chicago Blackhawks over the Colorado Avalanche 6-2 on Monday night for their third straight victory. Our View:Ladd had done very little up to this point with just one goal and one assist through his first 11 games. |

June 23, 2008 Andrew Ladd has signed a two-year extension to remain with the Blackhawks, according to the Our View:Chicago acquired the 22-year old from Carolina on February 26. He was a member of the Hurricanes' club that hoisted the Stanley Cup in 2006. |

Ladd has taken advantage of his a chance in Chicago and playing on a line with veteran Patrick Sharp and rookie David Bolland has been favorable.
