October 12, 2006 The Thrashers sent Braydon Coburn to their AHL affiliate in Chicago yesterday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. GM Don Waddell said he expects Coburn to be cleared to play this weekend. He's been out wit a separated shoulder. Coburn should be back with the Thrashers later this season. |

September 26, 2006 Braydon Coburn separated his shoulder in Sunday's preseason game, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A timeline was not given for Coburn's recovery, but coach Bob Hartley said the injury is "not major." The 21-year-old Coburn, the Thrashers 2003 first-round pick, was fighting for a roster spot. |
