September 14, 2008 The recent trade of Robert Lang to Montreal not only helped to alleviate salary cap issues for Chicago, it also opened the door for youngsters Dave Bolland and Petri Kontiola to earn an increased role, according to the Our View:Jack Skille could also be in the mix for some playing time depending on how he performs. Predicting 50+ points from any of these youngsters, the production that the club likely would receive from Lang, is not something that we are comfortable in doing right now. Keep an eye on how the situation plays out, but keep your expectations modest. |
