Henrik Lundqvist picked up his third victory of the first round as he stopped 28 of the 31 shots thrown at him by the Devils. Lundqvist allowed only two goals in the first two games of the series, though he ahas permitted seven pucks to slip past him his last two times on the ice. Still he is 3-1, and at this time of year all that matters is the W.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 26-of-27 shots in a hard fought 2-1 win over the Devils on Friday, and Lundqvist has earned third star honors, according to NHL.com. That was a great effort, and he carried a shutout until the final two minutes.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 26 of 27 shots on Friday night as the Rangers took a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Devils. In two games Lundqvist has allowed just two goals as his reputation continues to grow for the Rangers.
