His goal was the eventual game-winner, as the Islanders nearly coughed up the 3-0 lead it gave them to win 3-2. Our View:Campoli doesn't have much fantasy value, with just four points in 12 games for the Islanders' blue-liner this year. |

November 3, 2008 Defenseman Chris Campoli scored a shorthanded and overtime goal on Monday to push the Islanders to a 4-3 victory. Our View:Campoli had yet to register a point through five games this season but he was exceptional on Monday. It is not recommended that owners pick him up after just one good game. |

October 23, 2008 The Islanders activated Chris Campoli from injured reserve in time for their game against the Dallas Stars on Thursday, according to the AP. The 24-year-old appeared in 46 contests last campaign, recording four goals, 14 assists and 16 penalty minutes. Our View:Campoli is worth watching. The Islanders have plenty of ice time for Campoli and its just a matter of whether or not he can take advantage of it. |

He is sidelined by an injured shoulder, but not the one he dislocated last season that required surgery and knocked him out for the season in January. Our View:Campoli managed just 46 games last season and finished with 18 points. He does not hold much fantasy value. |

September 30, 2008 Chris Campoli is out with an undisclosed injury, according to Newsday. Our View:He is expected to miss the October 10 season opener, and could miss a few weeks after that as well. Campoli is a top-six defender with the team and has good offensive skills, but his fantasy value looks to remain limited due to his poor durability. |
