September 30, 2008 Jimmy Howard stopped 26 of 27 shots on Tuesday night in the Wings 2-1 shootout loss to the Canadiens. Our View:Howard is third on the Wings depth chart in net behind Chris Osgood and Ty Conklin leaving him no chance to make the squad unless injury strikes. He will begin the year in the AHL biding time for a shot in the NHL. |
