December 4, 2008 Shea Weber continues to score at a ridiculous rate, picking up his 11th goal of the year on Thursday. Our View:Weber has now piled up 11 goals and 13 assists in 25 games. That would be great for a forward so for a defenseman, it borders on insane. |

December 4, 2008 Shea Weber missed Wednesday's practice while dealing with food poisoning, according to the Our View:Coach Barry Trotz is hopeful the rising star will be ready for tonight's home game against Colorado. Weber has really stepped up for Nashville this season after losing Marek Zidlicky to Minnesota, as the defenseman has scored 10 goals and 13 assists over 24 games. |

November 23, 2008 Shea Weber continued his impressive scoring spree with two more goals, one on the power-play, and an assist on Sunday in the Predators' 5-2 victory over the Hurricanes. Our View:Weber is up to 10 goals and 21 points in 20 games for the Predators as the most valuable blue liner in the early going. Weber hasn't gone more than two games with a point this season as he continues to score as if he is s top shelf forward and not a blue liner. |
