October 15, 2008 Ryan Hollweg was dealt an automatic three-game suspension by the NHL on Wednesday following his fourth game misconduct, according to the Our View:If Hollweg gets another game misconduct for boarding, hitting from behind or certain stick infractions over the next 41 games, he will automatically get a four-game suspension. Hollweg is eligible to return October 23 against the Bruins. |

October 13, 2008 Ryan Hollweg just came back from a two-game suspension, and he may be facing another after the Toronto tough guy received a five-minute major and game misconduct for a boarding penalty, according to Our View:Hollweg foolishly slammed Blues rookie Alex Pietrangelo into the boards early in the second period with the Leafs up 3-0. The Blues scored twice on the ensuing power play, changing the tone of the game. |

October 6, 2008 Tough guy Ryan Hollweg has been suspended for the first two games of the regular season after receiving a boarding major in the preseason following two such offenses last season resulting in an automatic suspension, according to Our View:Hollweg's only value is in the PIM category, he had 96 in 70 games last season, so his loss shouldn't be too heartbreaking to overcome. |
