March 29, 2008 Karri Ramo continues his education as an NHL goalie, tonight making an amazing 38 saves on 39 shots on goal (97.436%), leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Since coming up from Norfolk in December, Ramo has posted just three one-goal games (including this evening) and no shutout wins. For a young goalie learning the ropes, it is understandable. |
