September 18, 2008 Derian Hatcher (knee) will be placed on the Flyers long-term injury list after the Flyers first game of the season, according to the Our View:This move will allow the Flyers to remove Hatcher's $3.5 million salary from the books as he will continue to rehab his knee in the hopes that he won't have to call it a career.
