Lukas Krajicek, D Monday 10/6, 3:06 PM CT
Lukas Krajicek and Juraj Simek have been dealt by the Canucks to the Lightning in exchange for Michael Ouellet and Shane O'Brien, according to TSN.

Our View: The 25-year-old defenseman will be trying to bounce back from shoulder surgery that ended his 2007 campaign after only 39 games played. He could see more playing time in Tampa Bay, but still won't likely be fantasy worthy.
Olaf Kolzig, G Sunday 10/5, 2:13 PM CT
Olaf Kolzig made 37 saves but still allowed two goals as the Lightning lost to the Rangers on Sunday.

Our View: Despite the loss, Kolzig played well and contributed positively for fantasy owners.
Martin St. Louis, RW Saturday 10/4, 2:04 PM CT
Martin St. Louis scored the lone goal in the Lightning's 2-1 loss to the Rangers Saturday.

Our View: He was assisted by Vincent Lecavalier, who had a team-high six shots on goal.
Mike Smith, G Saturday 10/4, 1:59 PM CT
Mike Smith was terrific in a losing effort Saturday, stopping 39-of-41 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers.

Our View: Smith will likely lose some playing time to Olaf Kolzig this year, and he is playing on a bad team, but the guy has a lot of ability.
Vincent Lecavalier, C Wednesday 10/1, 11:16 PM CT
ESPN.com reports that Vincent Lecavalier still isn't close to being top-notch as he tries to recover from offseason shoulder surgery. He showed some frustration Tuesday night as he continues to struggle with his timing and conditioning. But the good news is, he said those issues have nothing to do with the shoulder, which he says is feeling better every day.

Our View: This would point to a slow start for the 92-point center but expect him to get in the flow very soon after the start of the season.
