Kvapil gets Darlington sponsor

Sponsorship continues to roll in at Robert Yates Racing for Travis Kvapil. This week, LaFayette Ford will feature a retro paint scheme reminiscent of the one run on Fred Lorenzon's car in the 1960s.

Our View: In two starts at Darlington, Kvapil has finished in the 30s both times.

Marlin to run the No. 40 at Darlington

Sterling Marlin will get his shot behind the wheel of the No. 40 Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge this week in place of the injured Dario Franchitti.

Our View: Marlin will also standby for the Coke 600 in case Franchitti's ankle has not sufficiently healed, but the team expects to be back to normal soon.
