N'Wide: Logano fastest Regular in HHFriday 5/30, 3:23 PM CT
Joey Logano was the fastest Nationwide Regular in practice for the Heluva Good! 200. His top speed was 151.400 mph, posted on his first lap.

Our View: Think the hype surrounding this kid is overblown? Think again, and he's is priced to move.
N'Wide: Hamlin wins HHFriday 5/30, 3:21 PM CT
Denny Hamlin posted the fastest single lap of practice in Happy Hour for the Nationwide series Heluva Good! 200. His top speed was 151.688 mph.

Our View: Last week, Joe Gibbs Racing's streak of three straight wins came to an end, and Hamlin is a good bet to start another.
Biffle on Best Buy poleFriday 5/30, 3:15 PM CT
Greg Biffle blistered the field with a lap of 155.219 mph and will lead them to the green on Sunday in the Best Buy 400.

Our View: Kurt Busch on the outside pole is more than one mile per hour slower, with a speed of 153.971. Biffle continues to be one of this week's favorites.
Earnhardt to make 300th straight startFriday 5/30, 1:53 PM CT
The Best Buy 400 will mark Dale Earnhardt, Jr's 300th consecutive start in Cup competition.

Our View: Junior also had three part pre-rookie starts as well, and during his career, he has 17 victories, 81 top-fives and 130 top-10s.
Truex guns for two spring winsFriday 5/30, 1:12 PM CT
Martin Truex Jr. won at Dover last spring and looked good while doing so, but he was only 13th in the fall. He wants to erase that disappointment from his memory.

Our View: Of course, his 13th last fall has an asterisk next to it since he was knocked out of contention during a pileup during a late race restart. Drivers always perform better in their home tracks, and Truex hails from Mayetta N.J.
Kenseth looking for third straight top-10Friday 5/30, 12:40 PM CT
After finishing 38th or worse in three consecutive races, Matt Kenseth has posted back-to-back top-10s for only the second time this season with a seventh in the Coke 600.

Our View: Kenseth is an extremely consistent driver, so fantasy owners can expect him to run up front. In 2006, he won two of four concrete, high-banked races
Carpentier, McCumbee in dangerFriday 5/30, 12:09 PM CT
Patrick Carpentier and Chad McCumbee are the two "go-or-go-home" drivers in the most jeopardy of failing to qualify according to the first practice speed chart.

Our View: Carpentier has a history of picking up before time trials, however, and if he can that puts Tony Raines in the No. 34 in danger.
Raines late hour replacementFriday 5/30, 12:08 PM CT
Tony Raines will compete in the No. 34 this week in the Best Buy 400 instead of John Andretti now that the No. 08 has been withdrawn.

Our View: It's kind of a lateral move. Neither team has shown enough speed to make them a good fantasy value.
J Gordon fastest in Dover P1Friday 5/30, 12:03 PM CT
Jeff Gordon posted the fastest single lap at Dover in the first practice for the Best Buy 400. His top speed was 154.407 mph.

Our View: Gordon has a long history of success there, with four wins, but he's struggled nearly everywhere this season. At Lowe's last week, however, he blamed his starting position and said the team had to improve. Looks like they will.
Harvick hopes to stop mini-slideFriday 5/30, 11:27 AM CT
Kevin Harvick has not earned a top-five in Cup competition since he was second at Bristol, and he hasn't had a top-10 in two races.

Our View: Bristol has a lot of similarities to Dover, so this could be a good weekend for him to get back to the front of the pack.
Crafton to practice and qualify for R GordonFriday 5/30, 10:54 AM CT
Craftsman Truck Series regular Matt Crafton will practice and qualify the No. 7 Robby Gordon car this week, while Gordon is competing in the Baja classic.

Our View: Gordon has some experience jumping in the car after someone else has practiced it. At Talladega, after competing in the Central European Rally, he finished 11th after P.J. Jones practiced.
Burton looking for 19 top-15s Friday 5/30, 10:35 AM CT
With his sixth-place finish last week in the Coke 600, Jeff Burton notched his 18th consecutive top-15. On Sunday, he'll gun for 19.

Our View: Eighteen races is a half season in NASCAR, which makes this an incredible feat of consistency.
N'Wide: Bires fastest Regular in Dover P1Friday 5/30, 10:15 AM CT
Kelly Bires was the fastest among the Nationwide Regulars in Dover's first practice session for the Heluva Good! 200. His top speed was 152.724

Our View: Bires has only one start at Dover and he earned a modest 19th, but he currently has much more momentum on his side that he did last fall.
N'Wide: Biffle fastest in first Dover practiceFriday 5/30, 10:15 AM CT
Greg Biffle posted the fastest single lap in the first practice session for the Heluva Good! 200. His top speed was 153.879 mph.

Our View: Biffle has a great record at Dover, with two victories and nine top-10s in 13 starts. His last victory was in 2004, but he could update that this week.
