Garnett scored Dub-DubMonday 5/12, 11:13 PM CT
Kevin Garnett and the Celtics have underestimated the Cavs ability to play defense. In Monday's Game 4 loss, Boston didn't have one player score over 20 points. Garnett recorded a Double-Double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Our View: The Celtics center was 6-of-13 from the floor and grabed 10 rebounds in the loss.
James leads Cavs to winMonday 5/12, 11:10 PM CT
LeBron James scored 21 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Celtics 88-77 in Game 4 on Monday night

Our View: James, who was shooting a pathetic 22.4 percent from the floor after three playoff games against Boston, was again off the mark finishing the contest but 7-for-20 from the floor. Cleveland's win sends the best-of-seven series to a 2-2 tie.
Rondo up and downMonday 5/12, 6:48 PM CT
Boston point guard Rajon Rondo has scored in double-figures in every home game this postseason, but hasn't hit double-figures in his past two road games and had no assists in Game 3 in Cleveland.

Our View: This is why the Celts went out and grabbed Sam Cassell. The pressure of the playoffs have a tendency to affect the young and inexperienced.
Game 4 a must for James Monday 5/12, 6:47 PM CT
It has become clear that Boston is going to all but ignore the secondary scorers for the Cavs, and make LeBron James beat them. But if Game 3 is any indication, they might need to start worrying a little more about Cleveland's non-LeBron. Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak stepped it up in Game 3 with center Zydrunas Ilgauskas chipping in for a Cleveland win.

Our View: James is shooting an atrocious 22.4 percent from the field.
Pacers pick up option on Graham Monday 5/12, 3:49 PM CT
The Pacers have picked up the contract option on Stephen Graham on Monday, according to the AP. The three-year vet played in only 22 games for the Pacers this season, while averaging 4.0 points. He scored a career-high 16 points against Toronto on February 29. Larry Bird said, "Stephen is an exceptional individual on and off the court. He has a great work ethic and over the course of last season, we saw major improvement from last summer."

Our View: The 25-year old Graham has already spent time with Houston, Chicago, Cleveland and Portland, before landing in Indiana. He only averaged 4.0 points per game, but also only averaged 5.9 minutes. He is capable of solid production, evidenced by his strong effort against Toronto in February.
Bowen earns eighth defensive honor Monday 5/12, 3:41 PM CT
Bruce Bowen has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team for the eighth time in his career, according to the AP.

Our View: Bowen only averaged 6.0 points, but was given the honor for averaging 2.9 boards, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest. He is also known to be one the most physical and toughest defenders in the league.
Duncan earns honor for 11th time Monday 5/12, 3:36 PM CT
Tim Duncan has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team for the 11th time in his career, according to the AP. Team-mate Bruce Bowen was selected as well.

Our View: Duncan enjoyed another strong campaign as he averaged 19.3 points, and was chosen for the defensive honor by averaging 11.3 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, and 0.7 steals per outing.
Camby lands on All-Defensive Team Monday 5/12, 3:32 PM CT
Marcus Camby has landed on the NBA All-Defensive Team, according to the AP.

Our View: Camby only scored 9.1 points per game, but earned the honor by leading the NBA with 3.6 blocks per game, and finishing second with 13.1 boards per contest. He also registered 1.1 steals per game.
Garnett headlines All-Defensive Team Monday 5/12, 3:28 PM CT
Kevin Garnett headlines this year's NBA All-Defensive Team, according to the AP. Garnett was also previously named Defensive Player of the Year.

Our View: This is Garnett's ninth selection, and he led the Celtics to the NBA's best record at 66-16, while averaging 9.2 boards, 1.4 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game.
Bryant selected to All-Defensive TeamMonday 5/12, 3:24 PM CT
Kobe Bryant has been selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team, according to the AP.

Our View: This was Bryant's eighth career selection, and he earned it this season by averaging 6.3 boards, 1.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest.
Varejao will play Monday 5/12, 2:29 PM CT
Anderson Varejao was listed as questionable for Game 4 against Boston, but he will be ready to play, according to the Boston Globe. Coach Mike Brown said, "He did not have any problems doing everything and anything we did in the shootaround."

Our View: He will provide quality depth for Ben Wallace, who is going to start, but is still nursing an inner-ear infection.
Varejao questionable for Game 4 Monday 5/12, 11:47 AM CT
Anderson Varejao is questionable for Game 4, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. He sustained a bruised right knee in the first half of Game 3.

Our View: He racked up five points and one board over 10:42 minutes in Game 3. He was limited to only 48 games due to injuries in the regular season, and the team can press on without him if he is to miss Game 4. Ben Wallace has been slowed by an ear infection, but still managed to play almost 29 minutes in Game 3, and came down with nine boards.
Bryant will be ready for Game 5 Monday 5/12, 11:38 AM CT
Kobe Bryant tweaked a lower back muscle during Sunday's loss to the Jazz, but stated that he will be ready to go for Game 5, according to the LA Daily News. He said, "I should be OK. I'll definitely play."

Our View: Bryant was in pain in Game 4 and couldn't attack the rim, but still scored 33 points (with 10 assists). He could be limited in crucial Game 5, but shouldn't miss the game, as the series is tied 2-2.
