Wright addes size to Cavs

The Cavaliers signed center Lorenzen Wright on Friday to boost frontcourt size and help offset the loss of forward Joe Smith, according to the AP.

Our View: Cleveland has been looking for some frontcourt size since Smith was traded as part of the three-team deal with Memphis and Milwaukee that brought guard Mo Williams to Cleveland.

Gallinari expected for camp

Danilo Gallinari, who has been dealing with back soreness since his first summer league game, is expected to be ready to participate at the beginning of training camp, according to Newsday.com.

Our View: Zach Randolph could be headed to Memphis, but Gallinari wouldn't likely push David Lee at power forward. Gallinari's rookie campaign should mostly be for development with the idea of making a bigger impact in 2009.
