Coach McCarthy is pleased with the recent acquisition of Brandon Chillar, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. McCarthy stated, "I think Chillar is solid against the run, good against the run, very athletic in the pass game." As of now, Chillar is going to compete with Brady Poppinga for the starting spot at strong-side linebacker this season.

McCarthy commented, "I'll tell you, I think Brandon Jackson is a player that you saw at the end of the year, I think Brandon Jackson, when we're sitting here next year, that you're going to say, 'Hey.' He's going to contribute, definitely as a running back, and he may be one of our best special-teams players. Brandon Jackson, what he established later in the year, I'm excited about him." This is encouraging news for Jackson and his fantasy stock should remain on the rise.
