Petr Sykora netted the game-winner in the third overtime on Monday night (Tuesday morning) to send the Stanley Cup finals into Game 6. Sykora didn't have a point in the previous four games.
Our View: Sykora is coming off his highest regular season point total (63) since 2000-01, but he'd been quiet recently. He won't forget this one for a while. |

The Predators have made an offer to Darcy Hordichuk, but he may decide to become a free agent, according to the Tennessean. GM David Poile said, "We told him we'd like to have him back and we have made him an offer, but we don't have an acceptance at this point. A year ago at this time, we offered him a two-year deal and he only wanted one."
Our View: Hordichuk only played in 45 games due to injuries in 2007-08, and held no fantasy value with one goal and two assists. |

Maltby said, "They're going to be desperate. They're fighting for their lives. They're going to want to throw everything at us, and they've got a lot over there."
Our View: Maltby will be ready tonight and is a strong penalty killer, but has not registered a point over 10 playoff games. |

The 46-year old defenseman has not played in any of the first four games of the Finals and said, "By no means am I upset. Everybody wants to play. But everything we've done up to this point has been the right thing. Everybody knows I'm there for them. We talk about our depth. Hopefully, we won't need me, we can finish this off tonight."
