Gore withdraws from Byron Nelson ChampionshipMonday 4/21, 11:02 PM CT
Jason Gore has officially withdrawn from this week's Byron Nelson Championship.

Our View: Gore hasn't made a cut in weeks and is struggling through one a horrendous stretch of inadequate play. He may need time to collect his thoughts (or could be nursing an undisclosed injury).
Dougherty withdraws from Byron Nelson ChampionshipMonday 4/21, 11:00 PM CT
Nick Dougherty has officially withdrawn from this week's Byron Nelson Championship.

Our View: Dougherty was in the midst of his best outing on the PGA Tour this season at last week's Verizon Heritage when he informed the PGA, prior to his final round, that he was withdrawing due to a suddenly illness in the family (reportedly his mother has fallen ill). He continues to care for that matter and thus will be out this week. Dougherty has been replaced by Bob Sowards who has split time this season between the PGA and Nationwide Tours.
Azinger joins the field at the Byron NelsonMonday 4/21, 10:48 PM CT
Paul Azinger has been officially added to the field at this week's Byron Nelson Championship.

Our View: The veteran duffer has suffered through a rough season and he has not played at the Nelson in nearly two decades. It may be his desire to get back on track and chase better results, but fantasy owners would be wise to seek better options for the week.
Weekley withdraws from the Byron Nelson ChampionshipMonday 4/21, 10:45 PM CT
Boo Weekley, the winner of last week's Verizon Heritage, has withdrawn from the Byron Nelson Championship.

Our View: The announcement of Weekley's withdrawal has not been officially filed with the PGA, but Laura Deason, a contributor at PGATour.com, has reported Weekley has let PGA officials know he will be taking a pass to spend time with his pregnant wife.
Dougherty withdraws at HeritageMonday 4/21, 12:00 AM CT
Nick Dougherty withdrew before the final round due to a family illness, according to the PGA.

Our View: The Englishman had been nine shots in back of leader Boo Weekley after three rounds. Dougherty is listed in the field at next week's Byron Nelson Championship. We'll keep an eye on his status for this coming Thursday and update as necessary.
