Moore comes one-stroke short of win at Byron NelsonMonday 4/28, 10:34 AM CT
It was an exciting yet frustrating finish for young Ryan Moore , coming one stroke short of taking this year's Byron Nelson Championship. Moore posted a score of 68 (-2) on Sunday to force playoff holes between he and Adam Scott (who entered the day with three-stroke lead). After three holes of extra play, Scott holed a 48-foot putt on the 18th hole to secure the win.

Our View: This is Moore's fourth career runner-up finish on the PGA Tour. He is the first player since Tiger Woods to skip Q- School, advancing directly from college to the the Tour. He has yet to post a PGA victory, but the skill to compete and become a top PGA talent is obviously on hand.
Scott takes the Byron Nelson titleMonday 4/28, 10:30 AM CT
It wasn't as easy as hoped, but Adam Scott prevailed in the final round of the Byron Nelson Championship to emerge victorious, defeating Ryan Moore in playoff holes to take the title.

Our View: Scott nailed a 9-foot birdie putt on the 18th to force the playoff after entering the day with a three-stroke lead. He then holed an amazing 48-foot putt on that same hole, the third playoff hole between the two, to take the win. Scott now carries six career PGA wins.
