Marino pulls out of AT&T Classic

Stephen Marino has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T Classic.

Our View: It is a bit of a surprise as Marino has struggled of late, missing just his second cut of the year at THE PLAYERS last week, the first coming at the Zurich Classic in late March. He has sandwiched a T66, a T42, and a T40 in between those missed cuts, a far cry from the surge of success he found in the early weeks of the season. Marino will be replaced in the field by Notah Begay III.

Mahan withdraws from AT&T Classic

Hunter Mahan has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T Classic.

Our View: Reports indicate Mahan struggled through flu-like symptoms at THE PLAYERS last week, thus while the PGA has not released a reason for withdrawal, it is fair to assume that he is in need of rest (and he's never played especially well at Sugarloaf anyway). He will be replaced by Willie Wood.

Beckman continues to miss PGA time

Cameron Beckman has officially withdrawn from this week's AT&T Classic.

Our View: Beckman has been struggling with a sore back, resulting in a string of withdrawals over the last month. He is replaced in the field by Guy Boros.
